Opening or Inserting Designs from ENOVIA Workspaces

From the Open or Insert dialog box, you can list the designs within a particular Workspace and select one or more designs. Upon right-click, you can Open or Insert, Lock, Unlock, open a particular version, work with Baselines, Explore in ENOVIA, or view properties of the design.

Before you begin:
  • The designs must already be saved in ENOVIA.
  • Design in which you want to insert another design must be open and active in AutoCAD.

Opening Designs From ENOVIA

  1. Click ENOVIA > Open or Insert from AutoCAD toolbar

    The ENOVIA Open or Insert dialog box opens.

  2. Click the tab.

    The list of available ENOVIA workspaces are displayed.

  3. Click to expand the workspace tree and view the designs within each workspace folder.

  4. Select one or more designs and right-click to view the available options. Click Open or Insert to open or insert the selected designs.
