Comment Lifecycle

This lifecycle controls the states for a Comment object. Comments can be associated with a Requirement Specification structure.

The Comment lifecycle includes these states:

Active

Comment objects are created in the Active state. Comments can be edited and attached to Chapters or Requirement Specifications in this state.

Release

Comment objects must be promoted to the Release state before the Requirement Specification that includes the Comment can be promoted to its Release state.

If you demote a Chapter that contains a Comment from Release to Active, the Comment is also demoted to Active.
