Compliance Plant Specific Part Lifecycle

This part functions the same as the Compliance Enterprise Part except it represents a specific plant.

The Compliance Plant Specific Part lifecycle includes these states:

Preliminary

The part is created in the Preliminary state. When all documentation and reviews have been completed, the Compliance Engineer promotes it to the Complete state.

Complete

In this state, the part can be added to Compliance Bills of Material (CBOMs).

When the part should no longer be used, the Compliance Engineer can promote it to the Obsolete state.

Obsolete

In this state, the part cannot be used in any new Bills of Material (CBOMs). The system changes the permissions on the part so that to connections to it are not permitted. Once in the Obsolete state, the Compliance Engineer can demote it back to the Complete state.
