Decision Lifecycle

This lifecycle controls the states for a Decision object.

The Decision lifecycle includes these states:

Active

Decision objects are created in the Active state. The person who creates the decision must enter a description explaining the decision.

Decisions rationalize the creation or existence of a requirement or other object, or a consensus made or to be made in a meeting. If you understand the decision, you will understand the requirements objective along with the potential risks and opportunities.

In the Active state, Decisions can be connected to other objects or relationships to indicate what the decision relates to.

Release

A Decision can be promoted to the Release state. In this state, it cannot be attached to objects.

Superceded

The Decision has been superceded. It cannot be edited or attached to objects or relationships, but it can be looked at.
