Rendering a Page in PDF

You can convert any ENOVIA product page that has PDF tool in the toolbar to a PDF document.

Before you begin:
  • Search for the object you want to work with, see Searching. or
  • Select a menu command from the menu.

    Or

  • Use any method to view a page.

  1. Click in the page toolbar. (If the page toolbar does not contain the PDF tool, the page does not have PDF rendering.)

    Adobe Acrobat is launched. Note that it may take some time for Acrobat to launch and load a document. If any of the fields on the page include an mxLink (hyperlink to an ENOVIA object), that field is converted to straight text and cannot be clicked.

  2. Optionally use the Print or Save As functions in Acrobat.
