Using the Structure Navigator

The structure navigator displays items with a hierarchical structure, called structured items, such as workspaces and projects in Program Central. Some of these items have folders, which can each have subfolders, and each subfolder can have subfolders and so on. Other types of structures, such as classification libraries, can also contain structured data. The structure navigator contains only items within the defined hierarchy allowing you to quickly navigate to the pertinent items in the hierarchy.

Before you begin:
  • Search for the object you want to work with. Or
  • Select a menu command from the menu. Or
  • Use any method to view a table of data.
