Third Party Tools

This section gives the information about third party tools used in Apparel Accelerator.

ENOVIA Apparel Accelerator for Design and Development product requires the following third party tools for certain functions:


  • Crystal Report Server- For generating specification packages. See Using Crystal Reports.
  • ImageMagick (Optional)- For image conversions of formats like bmp, pdf etc. See Using Image Magick.
  • nConvert (Optional)- For image conversions of formats like bmp, pdf etc. See Using nConvert.
  • Ghost Script (Optional)- Required with ImageMagick and nConvert for converting pdf to jpg or ai to jpg image conversion which is used in primary image functionality. See Using Ghost Script.

Note: If you are altering an existing property in any of the properties files, you should copy the last entry in the file for that property and paste it at the bottom of the file. The last property entry is enforced if duplicated and the property values that are provided should not be changed.

Note: ImageMagick and nConvert are not supported on AIX 6.1 and Windows2008 SP2/R2 64bit server.

Note: The platforms listed in the table above should be used as Enovia Platform Server (EPS) (known earlier as Matrix Collaboration Server or MCS). The same platforms should be used for setting up FCS.

Note: ENOVIA Apparel Accelerator for Design and Development V6R2012 supports with different third party tools only on Windows 2008 Server, LINUX (RHEL), and LINUX (SUSE) platforms.
