About Product Tasks

Product Tasks are tasks under WBS that are created for Product type of objects. Product task is applicable only to product types, this keeps the implementation specific.

Project Administrator defines a project template.Product tasks are defined within the project template. User defines the product types the product task is associated with.



Certain business rules are defined for updating the product. Once the values for the given business rules are satisfied, the product task is said to be completed.



The project lead creates a seasonal plan template with some tasks defined within the seasonal plan template. The user creates a seasonal plan using the seasonal plan template.The tasks defined within the template are inherited in the seasonal plan.

The project lead can also create a project/seasonal plan without using the project/seasonal plan template and can manually add the product tasks.
