Block Measurements

You can view the point of measures attached to the block from the measurements page and provides access to related data.

Ensure that you are in the Block Properties page. See Block Properties Page.

Access the Block Measurements page from the following:


  • From the page toolbar, click Categories > Measurements.

This section includes the following:
Columns Description
Name Unique name of the point of measure.
Description Description for the point of measure.
Variation Name of the variation for the point of measure.
Comments Comments for the point of measure.
Sort Predefined sort order of the point of measure in the library.
Requested Requested base size measurement.
QC Defines whether the point of measure is a quality controlled measurement and must be measured for quality assurance.

Actions

You can use the page toolbar to perform the following tasks.

Actions Description
Add Existing To add an existing point of measure related to grade rule. It does not contain the points of measure that are already connected to the context block.
Copy Selected To create a copy of the selected point of measure.
Remove Selected To remove the selected point of measure from the list.
View Fractions To open current measurement values as fractions in a new window.
View Metric To open current measurement values in centimeters in a new window. This command is available only if your current preference is set to Imperial.
View Imperial To open current measurement values in inches in a new window. This command is available only if your current preference is set to Metric.
Enable Edit To edit the requested value for the base size.
