Cost Record

The product cost record tab shows the details about the actual projected cost for product and provides access to related data.

Access the Cost Details tab from the following:

The page consists of the multiple cost objects that can be created manually when the following information has been defined at the product level. If any of these conditions have not been met, you will not be able to create or edit the projected costs:


  • Product has at least one supplier location connected to it.
  • Product has at least one colorway.
  • Product has at least one channel connected to it.

This section includes the following:

States Description
Detailed All cost attributes as appropriate for non-CMT formulas.
Detailed (CMT) All cost attributes appropriate for CMT formulas.
Summary Summarized view of costing information and some of the detailed attributes in a single column (for example, total material costs).


Columns Description
Channel The channel for the product/BOM variant.
Currency The currency for channel.
Color The product colorways.
Version Version information of the product.
Retail Price Estimated selling retail price.
Wholesale Price Estimated selling wholesale price.
Factory Price Factory price of the product.
Supplier Supplier of the product//BOM variant.
Currency The currency for product and cost records.
Status The current state of the product in its lifecycle.
Fabric Cost Total cost of fabric as defined by the product and variant bill of material.
Total Trim Cost Total cost of trim as defined by the product and variant bill of material.
Total Label Cost Total cost of label as defined by the product and variant bill of material.
Total Pkg Cost Total cost of packaging as defined by the product and variant bill of material.
Cut and Make Cost Total cost of cut and make as defined by the product and variant of bill of labor.
Sewing/Co Cost Total cost of sewing as defined by the product and variant of bill of labor.
Duty The total duty charges as defined by the product and variant of bill of labor.
Freight Cost - Int'l Cost of freight for international shipping.
Freight Cost - Local Cost of freight for local shipping.
Agent Fees The agent charges for the product delivery.
Factory Overhead Estimated Factory overhead.
Misc Cost Any additional miscellaneous costs.
Comment The additional comments for the costrecords.
Total Cost Calculated total cost generated using the formula: total fabric cost + trim cost + cut/make cost + wash cost + label cost + pkg cost + misc cost + other cost
GM (Wholesale) Gross Margin, which is the calculated percentage generated using the formula(wholesale price - estimated landed cost)/ estimated landed cost.
IMU (Retail) Initial Markup, which is the calculated percentage generated using the formula:(retail price - estimated landed cost)/estimated landed cost.
Factory Inital Mark-up Calculated percentage generated using the formula (factory price - estimated landed cost) / wholesale price.

Actions

You can use the tab toolbar to perform the following tasks.

Actions Description
Add Location To add an existing location to the product. when you click this option, a Search page opens to search the existing vendors. Select the required supplier and add it to the context product.
Create Cost Records To create new entries to record the cost appropriate for non-CMT formulas for an assigned supplier location. See Creating Cost Records for more details.
Create Cost Records (CMT) To create new entries to record the cost appropriate for CMT formulas for an assigned supplier location. See Creating Cost Records (CMT) for more details.
Reject Selected Supplier Cost To reject the selected cost record.


To delete the selected cost record.
Enable Edit To edit the selected cost record.
