Creating a Cost Scenario

This section describes how to create the cost scenarios.


Before you begin: Ensure that you are in the Product Properties page. See Product Properties Page.
  1. From the page toolbar, click Categories > Sourcing.

  2. Click the Cost Scenarios tab.

  3. From page Actions menu, click Create Scenario. A Create New Scenario page opens.



  4. Specify the following:.

    Field Name How to Enter
    Type The type of cost scenario.
    Description Description of the cost scenario.
    Comments Comments about the cost scenario.
    Landed Factor Estimated landed factor used to calculate the estimated landed cost.
    Currency Currency of the product.
    Total Fabric Cost Calculated cost of the fabric based on the library cost multiplied by quantity as specified in the BOM.
    Total Trim Cost Calculated cost of the trim based on the library cost multiplied by quantity as specified in the BOM.
    Total Label Cost Calculated cost of the label based on library cost multiplied by quantity as specified in the BOM.
    Total Pkg Cost Estimated Packaging Cost.
    Cut and Make Costs Estimated Cut and Make Costs.
    Quota Charge Estimated quota charge.
    Miscellaneous Cost Miscellaneous Cost.
    Factory Overhead Additional overhead costs associated with product development.
    Freight Cost Int'l Cost of freight for international shipping.
    Freight Cost Local Cost of freight for local shipping.

  5. Click Done.
