Manage Roles

This section gives the information about different roles.

While assigning roles to different persons using the ENOVIA Apparel Accelerator for Sourcing and Production Partners, you use the general administrative functions available in all ENOVIA applications from the Tools menu. You must be assigned the Organization Manager role to access these functions. This table lists the additional user roles implemented in the ENOVIA Apparel Accelerator for Sourcing and Production Partners and describes how each group uses the application.

User

Tasks

Supplier


  • Can manage RFQ quotations, fill in the cost items and submit them for review.
  • Can manage Capacity Plans.
  • Can create, edit, and manage collections and routes.
  • Can create issues in the system.
  • Supplier representatives may only view and edit records to which they are assigned as the supplier.

Sourcing Agent


  • Can perform viewing and editing tasks for products to which they are assigned as the PO/A.
  • Can view product testing records to which they are assigned as the PO/A.
  • Can perform all tasks required for sample order management, however it may only perform tasks for sample orders to which they are assigned.
  • Can perform all tasks for RFQ Quotation management including view, edit, promote, and demote for those RFQ records to which it is assigned as the PO/A. The sourcing agent cannot create RFQ records.
  • Can manage Sourcing Plans (Vendor Allocation) and Capacity Plans.

Material Sourcing Agent


  • Can perform view and edit tasks only for fabrics or trims to which they are assigned as the PO/A.
  • Can view material testing records for those fabrics to which they are assigned as the PO/A.
  • Can perform all tasks required for managing sample material orders, but only for records to which they are assigned as the PO/A including create, edit, promote, demote, and delete actions.
  • Can only create sample material orders from sample material requests to which they are designated as PO/A. Material Sourcing Agents cannot create sample material orders without a sample material request. And manage BMM.

Material Testing Agent


  • Can perform view, edit, promote and demote tasks only for material tests records to which they are assigned as PO/A.

Product Testing Agent


  • Can perform view, edit, promote and demote tasks only for product test records to which they are assigned as PO/A.

(Senior) Production Agent


  • Can perform all tasks relating to Assortment Management Ordering.

Vendor Audit Agent


  • Only have read-only access in some field in Vendor Audit record.
