Creating a Stand-Alone Vendor Capacity Plan - Capacity Allocation

This section describes how to add Attribute values, factories, and supplier periods to stand-alone vendor capacity plans.

Before you begin:

Additional attribute values can only be added to the Capacity Allocation page if at least one corresponding attribute value has been identified on the Properties page of the plan. For example, only if a Product Type has been selected on the Properties page can an additional Product Type values be added in the Capacity Allocation page.

  • From the page toolbar, click Categories > Capacity Allocation, the Capacity Allocation page opens.

From the Actions drop-down, the following options are available:

Add Attributes? - Based on the attributes selected in the Properties of the capacity plan, additional attribute values can be added.

For example, if Product Type and Country of Import were selected as attributes in the Properties of the Capacity Plan, the Add Attributes allows additional product types and countries of import to be added based on which level of the plan is selected before clicking the Add Attribute button (e.g. if Brand is selected, divisions can be added, if division is selected, product type can be added, if product type is selected, country of import can be added - assuming Division, Product Type, and Country of Import were all specified in the Capacity Plan Properties).

Add Factories? - Assign factories to the plan using this function.

Add Supplier Period - Additional time periods can be added to factory lines using this function if additional Production and AC Months are needed for the specified unit volume and Month (i.e., in-store month).

Set as Baseline - Sets current plan as a baseline against which future changes will be measured.
