Creating a Stand-Alone Vendor Capacity Plan from Properties Page

This section describes how to create stand-alone vendor capacity plan from properties page.

  1. From the global toolbar, click > Capacity Plan. The Capacity Plan Overview page opens listing the available capacity plans in the status specified in the State drop-down box on the toolbar.

  2. Click Create Capacity Plan from the page toolbar. The Create Capacity Plan page opens.



    Provide the information in the following fields. Fields in red italics are mandatory.

    Year - Select the calendar year for the capacity plan from the drop-down list.

    Brand - Select the Brand to which the capacity plan will be assigned from the drop-down list.

    Production Office/Agent - Select the Production Office or Agent responsible for the capacity plan from the drop-down list.

    Supplier - Click to search for and select a supplier for the capacity plan.

    Description - Enter a name for the capacity plan.

    Time Period - Select the time period for the plan (i.e., Season, Month).

    Calendar Template - Click to search for and select a Sourcing & Capacity Calendar to associate to the capacity plan.

    Planned From - Select the start of the time frame that the capacity plan covers (seasons default from the selected calendar template).

    Planned To - Select the end of the time frame that the capacity plan covers (seasons default from the selected calendar template).

    Product Type - The name describing the type of product for which the sourcing plan is used (e.g. pants, dress, jeans, etc.)

    Division - Click to search for and select a division of the specified Brand to which the capacity plan will be assigned.

    Show Seasonal Total - Indicates whether seasonal totals will be displayed (yes or no). When Time Period = Month and Show Seasonal Totals = yes, the system will sum the corresponding months for a seasonal total after the last month of the season.

    For example, if Spring and Summer seasons are included in a plan and seasonal totals = yes, the columns will be displayed in the following sequence: Mar, Apr, May, Season Total, Jun, Jul, Aug, Season Total, Total. If Show Seasonal Totals = no, the Season Total columns would not be displayed.

    Supplier View - Check one or both boxes to allow the supplier to view the capacity plan by production period and/or AC period.

    Country of Import - The country into which the product will be imported and sold.

  3. Click Done.
