Cancelling and Un-cancelling a SMO

THis section describes how to cancel or uncancel the sample material order.

Before you begin:

You can cancel the SMO record in any status except Shipped and Completed. After cancelling the SMO record, system will also change Order Line Status of all order lines within the same SMO record to Cancelled automatically.

Moreover, you can change the SMO status from Cancelled to Preliminary when un-cancelling SMO.

  1. From the global toolbar, click > Library > Sample Material Orders. The Sample Material Orders page opens.

  2. Click Name of a SMO or click at the end of the row. The Properties page of the SMO opens.

  3. Click Actions > Cancel Record from the page toolbar. The current SMO is cancelled.

  4. Click Un-Cancel from the page toolbar. The current SMO is un-cancelled and its status is changed to Preliminary.
