Applying Early Time and Action to Existing Product

This section describes how to apply early time and action to existing product.

Before you begin:

You have the ability to create Early Time and Action by applying Production Lead Time, Additional Process Remark, Import Attributes and Material items from the selected Early Time and Action record to the selected product.

  1. From the global toolbar, click > Early Time and Action. The Early Time and Action page opens.

  2. Click Name of the Early Time and Action or click at the end of the row, the Time and Action page opens.

    Note: The Materials tab can be only shown when the selected template type equals to Product (with Material Activities).

  3. From the Properties page toolbar, click Apply to Existing Product, the Apply TnA to Existing Product : Step 1 page opens.

  4. Click Find, the Apply TnA to Existing Product : Step 2 page opens.

  5. Select the product(s) and click Submit.

  6. The Apply TnA to Existing Product : Step 3 page opens.

    Note: f the selected TnA Product Template with Template Type equals to "Product (with Material Activities)", this step screen will be different as above.

  7. Click Next, the Apply TnA to Existing Product: Step 4 page opens.

  8. Click Done, the Time Line Summary page opens.

    Note: You can also apply the Early Time and Action to existing product. From the global toolbar, click Sourcing > Early Time and Action. The Early Time and Action page opens. Select the Early Time and Action and click Actions > Apply to Existing Product(s).
