Installation Overview

This section describes all of the steps required to successfully install ENOVIA CPG Accelerator for Artwork and Labeling Overlay.


Before you begin:
  • Set the system PATH environment variable to the installation directory of JAVA, for the logged-in user.
  • The TEMP variable (for Windows) or TMP (for UNIX) is set to a valid directory.
  • The drive where the TEMP variable point has sufficient free space.
  • The Security Alert message is granted permission to proceed.
  • The compatible version of JVM is installed. JVM is available for download from the Sun's Java web site.

In addition, you must have the following permissions:

  • Permission to run the installer
  • Permission to run MQL
  • Permissions to Write on the Matrix RMI staging directory
  • Permission to Write on the user installation directory

  1. Install ENOVIA CPG Accelerator for Artwork and Labeling Overlay in the Windows UI mode or UNIX mode, using the respective installer from the following.


    • Windows: ENOVIACPGArtworkandLabelingOverlay-V6R2013.Windows64.zip.
    • UNIX: ENOVIACPGArtworkandLabelingOverlay-V6R2013.Unix64.tar.gz.

    Note: The installer executable size is approximately 4 MB.

  2. Configure the WEB.xml for the custom filters, web server or other servers, and UTF - 8 related settings.
