About Copy Elements

Copy Elements are the elements which contain the required textual content for the Product Labels. These elements have one Master Copy and any number of Local Copy elements associated for the corresponding Master Copy.

You can use the concept of Master Copy Element to create a Master Copy Text in the default language, which can be reused across different geographic locations. The Local Copy Element enables you to create the region specific Copy Text contents.

In addition, Copy Elements have special elements named List Items, which enable you to combine the contents of one or more List Items to create a Composite Copy Element. For example, if the basic ingredients for all jam flavors are the same and the flavored ingredients are specific to the jam flavor, then you can create a List item for all the basic ingredients and separate list items specific to the jam flavors for the flavored ingredients. You can create a Composite Copy Element with contents of all the ingredients for a specific jam flavor (say strawberry) by combining the contents of a List Item with the basic ingredients and a List Item with flavored ingredients for a particular flavor (strawberry).
