Saving Report Criteria

After entering criteria to define a report, you can save it to run again at a future date, or to add it to the Metrics Dashboard.

If you save a report from the reports dialog page, ENOVIA Business Metrics Module does not save a result set with the report. No result set means that if you add the report to a channel of the Metrics Dashboard, you will need to refresh the report each time you log in (if you want to view the report). The report will then be updated with current data.

If you open a shared report that you do not own, the Save option is disabled. You can use the Save As option to save the definition of the report with you as the owner.

Before you begin: In the report dialog page, define all parameters for the selected report type.
  1. From the page Actions menu or page toolbar, click Save. A Save Report dialog box opens.

  2. Enter the details for the report:

    Field Name Description
Name A name for the report.
Title The title displays as the header and window title when viewing the report. The title also displays as the header and the title of the tab corresponding to the report on the Metrics Dashboard.

  3. Click Done.

The owner of the saved report has default access to the report. To share access with other users, the Business Administrator can give access to the specific report using MQL.
