Creating a Business Skill

Business skills have "Top Level" as their Parent Skill, whereas a subskill will have a business skill as its Parent Skill. You create a skill or a subskill the same way.

Before you begin:
  • Log in as a user with the role of Organization Manager.
  • View the list of business skills for a company or subsidiary. See Business Skills Page.

  1. Select Create New Business Skill from the page Actions menu or toolbar.



  2. Enter details about the skill or subskill:

    Field Name Description
    Name The name of the skill.
    Description A description of the skill.
    Parent Skill The Parent Skill is not-editable and set to Top Level for a business skill. For a subskill, the Parent Skill is the parent business skill.

  3. Click Done.
