Subscribing to Object Events

Subscribing to an object allows you to receive notification about selected events for that object. You can subscribe to an object from many pages, such as a Properties page, search results list, or list page that contains that object.

Before you begin: Navigate to the Properties page of the needed document, or any other page that lists the object and has a subscribe tool.

  1. From the Properties page for a document, select Subscribe from the page Actions menu or toolbar.

  2. Click the check box next to each event you want to receive notification about.

  3. When finished, click Done.

    You will receive email notification based on the events you selected.

    To unsubscribe from an event, open the dialog box as described above, clear a check box, and click Done. You can also follow the instructions in Subscriptions Page to unsubscribe from an event using the Subscriptions list page.
