Manufacturing Plan Breakdown Compliance

The Check column in the Manufacturing Plan Breakdown window provides a quick view as to whether a Manufacturing Plan Breakdown is compliant with the design information.

To determine whether or not a Manufacturing Plan Breakdown is compliant, the following checks are performed:

  • If the context Manufacturing Plan intent is "Regular," then for each subassembly revision (e.g., Product "Cockpit A," Product "Fuselage A," and Product "Tail A") does the Manufacturing Plan in the Breakdown belong to the subassembly revision (i.e., does Manufacturing Plan "Cockpit-MP1" belong to Product "Cockpit A")?

If yes, then the Manufacturing Plan is compliant.

Otherwise, the Manufacturing Plan is not compliant.

  • If the context Manufacturing Plan intent is "Retrofit," then for each subassembly revision does the Manufacturing Plan in the Breakdown belong to the subassembly current revision (i.e., does Manufacturing Plan "Cockpit-MP2" belong to Product "Cockpit A")?

If yes, then the Manufacturing Plan is compliant.

Else, if it belongs to a subassembly previous revision, then the Manufacturing Plan is compliant but there is still a retrofit left to do.

If neither of the previous conditions are true then the Manufacturing Plan is not compliant.
