Installing ENOVIA Collaboration for STEP Server in UI Mode

This chapter provides a step-by-step description of the installation process for ENOVIA Collaboration for STEP Server in UI mode.

Before you begin:

Make sure you have met the prerequisites outlined in Installation Prerequisites.

  1. To install ENOVIA Collaboration for STEP Server, see Installing ENOVIA Applications in the Live Collaboration - Web Applications Installation Guide.

  2. To upgrade ENOVIA Collaboration for STEP Server, see Upgrading ENOVIA Applications in the Live Collaboration - Web Applications Installation Guide.

  3. For issues, see Installation Troubleshooting in the Live Collaboration - Web Applications Installation Guide.

  4. For uninstalling, see Uninstalling an Application or Hot Fix in the Live Collaboration - Web Applications Installation Guide.

Note: If an STEP Global Config Object is already in the database, the existing GCO is not overwritten. The installer installs another GCO with a different name (suffixed with <GCOName>_<ReleaseNumber>, e.g., “STEPNewArch_V6R2012” for release V6R2012) with default values.

After successful installation, the user needs to create the EAR and WAR archives and deploy them in the web server.
