Application Sections

ENOVIA Live Collaboration remembers the size and placement of windows used in the current ENOVIA Studio Modeling Platform application session.

Sections for each ENOVIA Studio Modeling Platform application are added to the enovia.ini file whenever one of the ENOVIA Studio Modeling Platform programs (except MQL) are closed. When ENOVIA Matrix Web Navigator is used, they are saved in the matrix.properties file. The settings indicate the geometry of all windows that were displayed in the session. For example:

[MatrixApplication]
SplashDialog=576,432,352,296
MainApplicationDialog=949,895,210,97
ContextDialog=680,288,300,368
FindObjectsDialog=900,693,234,198
AttributesDialog=800,260,282,362

The numbers indicate the width, height, and x and y coordinates respectively. In this way, ENOVIA Live Collaboration remembers any resizing or replacing so that adjustments need not be made for every session. However, even if no resizing or replacement is done, all windows (with the exception of the SplashWindow), will “cascade” down and to the right each time they are opened, adding 10 to the X coordinate and 20 to the Y coordinate. The last-used coordinates are then saved to the .ini file and incremented for the next display.

If both ENOVIA Matrix Navigator and ENOVIA Matrix Web Navigator are in use, these settings are not persistent between the two.
