Installation Prerequisites and Installers

This section lists the prerequisites for installing Collaborative Design for CATIA V5 Client and the installers available for different levels of CATIA.

Embedded integration is supported only for CATIA R19SP9 and higher, and CATIA R20SP4 and higher.

Installation Prerequisites

This section lists the prerequisites for installing Collaborative Design for CATIA V5 Client for Embedded and Web Integration modes.

For Embedded Integration, the installation prerequisite is ENOVIA Integration Exchange Framework Client. For details on installing Integration Exchange Framework Client, see Designer Central -Installation and Administration Guide.

For Web Integration, there are no other prerequisite than the V6 Thin Client Software Requirements. For details, see the relevant section of the V6 Program Directories.

For both integration modes, the client side H/W and S/W requirements of the target CATIA V5 release must be met. For details, see the relevant section of the V5 Program Directories.

Launching the Installer

This section lists the installers available for different CATIA levels.

CATIA V5 Level Installer Location
CATIA V5R21 The client component is included out of the box in all CATIA V5 R21 installations.
CATIA V5R20 SP4 and higher The installer is on the media AM_ENO_XCAD - ENOVIA Designer Central Multi CAD Products, in the folder CollaborativeDesignForCATIAV5R19-CATIAV5R20/CATIAV5R20fromSP4.

Note: Note that you need to install or re-install the target Service Pack (and HotFix) after running the installer.
CATIA V5R20 GA to SP3 The installer is on the media AM_ENO_XCAD - ENOVIA Designer Central Multi CAD Products, in the folder CollaborativeDesignForCATIAV5R19-CATIAV5R20/CATIAV5R20.

Note: Note that you need to install or re-install the target Service Pack (and HotFix) after running the installer.

Note: Embedded integration is not available.
