Checking In Using Single-click

This feature is used to check in models with predefined check in options set by you Integration Administrator in the Global Configuration Object. You can check in all open models or just the active model without using any Designer Central user interface.Checkin page opens for Single-Click Checkin if:

  • obsolete nodes exist in the design.
  • settings to assign CAD model name from part on check in, for all designs with a New or Modified status is set up by the Integration Administrator.
  • design is not locked by the user.

During Quick Checkin, sparseloading is always treated as false. Single-click check in can have derived output generated in several formats, depending on the settings done by the Integration Administrator in GCO and the Preferences page. See MCADInteg-Global Config Object section in ENOVIA Collaborative Design for CATIA V5 Administrator's Guide for more details.

Note: Ensure that your Integration Administrator has set the required preference settings for check in.

  • Click ENOVIA V6 > Quick Checkin > Active Model or All Open Models.

Checkin is carried out silently, without a user interface. A Progress Bar displays the progress of the checkin.

    Single-Click Checkin will fail if:

    • the Checkin operation fails for any access or technical reason
    • the selected node is not locked
    • EBOMSynch fails (applicable only if your Integration Administrator has set up EBOM synchronization to happen upon design creation in the Global Configuration Object)
    • Integration Administrator has set options in Global Configuration Object to prevent check in if one or more models being checked in contains new nodes that have not been saved.
