Viewing Recently Accessed Designs

This feature is used to view the list of designs that you accessed within a certain time frame.

  1. In CATIA, click ENOVIA V6 > Recently Accessed Designs to open the Recently Accessed Designs page.



    Note: The designs checked-in with Bulk Loading option are not displayed in the Recently Accessed Designs page.

    Note: The designs that are checked-in with Delete Local Files option are not displayed in the Recently Accessed Designs page.

    If a file is checked in or checked out multiple times from the same directory, then Recently Accessed Designs page lists only the revision that was checked in or checked out last.

  2. For each design the page lists,

    Name: Name of the design

    Access Date: Date and time the design was accessed

    Alerts: Icons indicating other information associated with the design, such as associated parts

    Rev: Revision type of the design

    Ver: Version of the design

    Description: Brief description of the design

    State: Current state of the design

    Actions: Actions that can be performed on teh design

    Type: Type of design, such as CATPart or CATProduct

    Actions--The actions you can perform on the object:

    Subscribe

    View and select subscriptions for a document. See the Common Components User's Guide or online help.



    Check Out and Lock

    Check out one or more files to your local machine and lock the files from other users who cannot unlock it. Navigate to the folder or directory you want to contain the file.



    Quick Checkout

    Check out the selected file without entering any checkout options.



    Lock

    The file is locked; click to unlock.



    Unlock

    The file is unlocked; click to lock.

    Type--Type of the item.

    -Open the properties page for the object in a new window.

  3. To filter the list by date, select a time period from the Date pull-down list.

  4. Use the Actions menu to perform these tasks for the selected object (you can only use these menu items if you are assigned the integration for the object type):

    Checkout--Copy the file to your local computer system.

    EBOMSync--Create an Engineering BOM (EBOM) based on the selected CAD object.

    Rename--Rename the CAD object.

    SaveAs--Save a CAD object with a different name.

    Purge--Permanently delete the CAD objects from the database.

    Baseline--Label a particular set of objects.

    Promote--Promote the selected object to the next state in the object's lifecycle.

    Demote--Demote the selected object to the previous state in the object's lifecycle.

    Lock--Lock an unlocked object.

    UnLock--Unlock an object that you locked.

    Compare Structure--Compare the structure of one assembly against another.

    Subscriptions--Sign up for notifications when specific events occur. See the Common Components User's Guide.

    Quick Checkout--Check out the selected objects based on your Preference settings. You cannot set any checkout options with this action. .

    Quick Checkout and Launch CAD Tool--Check out the selected objects and load them into your CAD tool based on your Preference settings. You cannot set any checkout options with this action.

    Delete--Delete the selected objects, if you have delete permission.

    If multiple revisions of the same design is checked out to the same directory, then only the last checked out revision is displayed under the Recently Accessed Design tab. However, if the user checks out multiple revisions of the same design to different directories, then the last checked out design in each of these directories is displayed under the Recently Accessed Design tab.
