Test Method Properties

You can view and edit the details of a test method.

To access this page:


  1. List the existing test methods for an object. See Test Methods List.
  2. Click the Name of the test method.

This page defines these items:

Fields for Test Methods



Field Name Description
Name Name of the test method.
Title Descriptive title for the test method.
Originator Name of the person who created the test method.
Test Type Unassigned, Partial Scan, Full Scan, Boundary Scan, BIST, or Other
IP Block The IP Block that this test method is connected to.
Remarks Comments about the test method.

Actions for Test Methods

Action Description
Edit Details

To edit the test method:


  1. Click Edit Details.
  2. Edit the needed fields. You cannot change the Originator or IP Block.
  3. Click Done.
