Log Files for ENOVIA Collaboration for Microsoft

This task shows you how to enable and view the log files created in ENOVIA Collaboration for Microsoft.

This task is carried out by using ENOVIA Collaboration for Microsoft Context menu settings option.

The log files are located in the following locations for different Windows systems:

  • Windows XP (32 and 64 bit) - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ENOVIA Collaboration for Microsoft\Logs
  • Windows 7 - C:\ProgramData\ENOVIA Collaboration for Microsoft\Logs

  1. Right click ENOVIA Collaboration for Microsoft icon in the notification area and select settings.

  2. Update the Enable Trace option to true.

  3. Save the file.

  4. To verify the changes, perform any one of the following procedures:

    1. Restart computer.

    or

    Restart the process itself by doing the following:

    1. From the Task Manager, click on the Processes tab and select the locate explorer.
    2. Click on End Process.
    3. Navigate to File > New Task.
    4. In the textbox, type explorer and press Enter.
