Logging In and Out

This task shows you how to log in and log out of Windows Explorer Integration. You must log in to the system to access ENOVIA data. The application has a session time-out. If you log out, your connection with ENOVIA is ended for all applications.

Before you begin:

After successful installation of the ENOVIA Collaboration for Microsoft, the ENOVIA V6 menu appears on the File menu of ENOVIA Windows Explorer Integration.

Note: You only have to log in once per Windows session.

If you click Cancel in any of the ENOVIA integration dialog boxes, it aborts the operation.

  1. To logon to ENOVIA Windows Explorer Integration do the following:

    1. Right-click ENOVIA V6 icon on the desktop.
    2. From the right-click dropdown menu, select Login.



    3. From the splash window, type a valid username and password.

      Note: You must have a valid license for ENOVIA Collaboration for Microsoft(MSF).

    You are logged in to ENOVIA Windows Explorer Integration.

  2. To log out of ENOVIA Windows Explorer Integration do the following:

    1. Right-click ENOVIA V6 on the desktop.
    2. From the right-click dropdown menu, select Logout.

    You are now logged out of ENOVIA Windows Explorer Integration.
