Overview

Materials Compliance Supplier Portal is an optional module for Materials Compliance Central. The purpose of this module is to provide a secure mechanism for suppliers to access their customers' assigned parts in Materials Compliance Central and report compliance information.

While Materials Compliance Central runs on the intranet of a customer site, the Materials Compliance Central resides in the customer's DMZ zone, allowing external suppliers who don't normally have access to MCC to access the portal.

Using the portal, suppliers are able to query the reporting status of their parts in Materials Compliance Central, download pre-populated Compliance Connect spreadsheet files or IPC 1752, JAMP AIS, or JAMA/JAPIA files of parts that need to be reported. Users can upload filled-out Compliance Connect spreadsheet or IPC 1752, JAMP AIS, or JAMA/JAPIA files to be imported into Materials Compliance Central.

The Materials Compliance Supplier Portal enables customers to place the burden of reporting completely in the hands of their suppliers. No longer will a customer need to generate and email pre-populated spreadsheets to their suppliers or manually handle the import of returned spreadsheets from their suppliers.
