Working With Deliverables

A deliverable is an end product created by the task. A deliverable can be an external document, any item already added to a project folder, or any item in the database, such as an ECR or part. Your system might be set up so that when the deliverable is promoted to Complete, the task is also promoted to complete. If you are using the VPLM Program Management Integration, a deliverable can be a VPLM object.

The steps for listing, adding, editing, and removing deliverables are the same as those for folder content and attachments to other items, such as risks.

The Owner or Assignee of a task can add an EC (Engineering Change) as a task deliverable only if they are the Owner or an Assignee of the EC. For a change task, you can add a Defect as a deliverable.

If you are using the Semiconductor Accelerator for Enterprise Project Management, you can create DesignSync documents and folders.
