Deleting or Removing Sub or Derived Requirements

You can either remove or delete sub or derived requirements when you no longer need them. You delete them to remove them completely from the database. Removing them breaks the link between them and their original requirements, but does not delete them from the database.

Before you begin:

View the list of requirements. See Listing Requirements

  1. From the Requirements page, click the requirements name.

    The Requirements Structure Browser page opens.

  2. From the listing, check the sub or derived requirements you want to remove.

  3. From the page Actions menu, click Delete > Selected Objects.

    Or

    From the page Actions menu, click Delete > Object and Children.

    A form will ask you to verify the deletion.

  4. Click OK.
