Viewing Where a Requirement is Used

You can view a list of objects to which the requirement pertains from the Requirement Structure Browser.


Before you begin:

View the list of requirements. See Listing Requirements.

  1. Click the name of a requirement, or click .

    The Requirement Structure Browser opens. See Using the Requirement Structure Browser.

  2. From the Categories menu, click Where Used.



    The Requirement Where Used page column details are as follows:

    Select Box. Click the column header box to select all objects. Click the row box to select one or more objects.

    Level. The object level.

    Name. The name of the object.

    Title. The title of the object.

    Type. The object type, for example, Feature.

    Revision. The object revision.

    Description. The description of the object.

    State. The object's state in the lifecycle.

    Owner. The owner of the object.

  3. To create an Engineering Change for an object, check the object, and then click Raise Engineering Change. See Working with Engineering Changes.
