Rolling Up Requirement Versions

You can roll up changes to the requirement revision from any of its versions. When you roll up versions, the system moves one or more relationships under a version up to the requirement revision level. Rollup options include: 1) All attributes of the version are rolled up, 2) None of the attributes of the version are rolled up, 3) Only the attributes associated to the Rich Text Content of the version (content data, content text, content type) are rolled up.

  1. View the versions for a requirement.

  2. From the page Actions menu or toolbar, select Roll Up > All Attributes .

    Or

    From the page Actions menu or toolbar, select Roll Up > No Attributes.

    Or

    From the page Actions menu or toolbar, select Roll Up > Content Only.



    The Structure View column details are as follows:

    Relationship Type. The relationship of the object to the version. Check the column header box to select all versions. Check the row box to select one or more versions.

    Name. The name of the object.

    Description. The description of the object.

    Owner. The owner of the version.

  3. Check one or more relationships that you want rolled up on the version.

  4. Click Submit.
