Remove, Delete Objects: Structure & Content Editor

Removing an object from the requirement specification does not delete it from the database. The object remains available in the database and can be accessed by performing a search. Deleting an object from the specification will also delete it from the database. Deleted objects cannot be recovered.

The act of removing or deleting an object will also delete any child objects. Deleting a Chapter will delete the contents of that chapter. Selecting the Specification level will remove or delete the entire specification. You cannot remove or delete a specification or object reserved by another user.

You cannot remove or delete specifications or objects reserved by another user. Use the View filter's Status option to show any restrictions. See View and Display Options: Structure & Content Editor.
