Adding Existing Requirements, Chapters, Comments

You can add existing requirement, comments, or chapters to a specification. You can also remove these objects.

This task shows you how to:

Adding Existing Objects

  1. From the Structure View listing, check an object to select an insertion point.

  2. Select Actions > Add Existing > Chapter, Comment, or Requirement.

  3. The Search page for Chapters, Comments, or Requirements opens.

  4. Complete the search form, and click Find or, for requirements, click Search.

    The Search Results page opens.

  5. From the listing, check the objects to add, and click Submit or, for requirements, click Select.

Removing Objects

  1. From the Structure View listing, check the objects you want to remove.

    Check Specification to delete the entire specification and all objects.

  2. From the page Actions menu, select Remove.

    A confirmation form opens.

  3. Click Yes to confirm.

    The objects are removed from the listing but are not deleted from the database.
