Controlling Lifecycle State

This section contains the procedure for changing the lifecycle state of a specification or object (Requirement, Comment, or Chapter).

From the page toolbar, use Mass Promotes to upgrade the lifecycle state to the next level. Use Mass Demote to reverse the current lifecycle state to the previous level. There are five specification levels: Preliminary, Draft, Review, Release, and Obsolete. Mass Promote and Demote require either requirement manager or owner level authorization. If you want to promote or demote all objects, those objects must have the same state.
