Selecting the Requirement Logical Traceability Report

The Requirement to logical traceability report is called the Allocation report. It verifies the allocation of Requirements to Logical system components. It also verifies whether all Requirements have an allocation and all Logical system components satisfy a Requirement.


Before you begin:

You must have the ENOVIA VPM Multidiscipline collaboration platform installed. You also need the following role: ctx:VPLMDesigner.MyCompany.Standard.

  1. From the Requirements Specifications page, check one or more objects.

    Or

    From the Structure View page, check one or more objects.

    You do not have to check the Structure View page listing. The specification is selected by default for the traceability report.

  2. Select Actions > Traceability > Requirement-Logical.

    The Requirement-Logical option is not available for users having the Employee role.

    The Traceability Report Options page opens listing the available reports. The Baseline listing is available when more than one object is checked.

  3. From the listing, choose a Report Name.

  4. From the listing, choose a Logical Object.

  5. Click Done.
