Choosing a Preferred Currency and Unit of Measure

This procedure describes how to choose the currency and unit of measure that you want when you click the conversion tool on a page. Exchange rates must be defined in order to convert currency data.

For details, see Currency Exchange Rates Page. For instructions on setting up unit of measure conversions, see the Business Process Services Administrator's Guide. You may see a unit of measure on a view page, and different units for the same field on the edit page. For example, if your preference is metric, the view page could show a length value as "5.08 cm". However, that value may have been entered in inches and the edit page (which always shows the as-entered value) would display it as "2 in".
