Creating a BOM Template

This section describes how to create BOM templates.

  1. From the global toolbar, click > Standards > BOM Templates.

  2. Click Create New from the Action menu (or click > Standards > Create BOM Templates from the global toolbar).



    A Create BOM Template form opens where you can specify the following information.

    Field Name How to Enter
    Type Click and specify the type as BOM Template.
    Description Specify a description for the BOM template you are creating.
    Brand Select a company from the drop-down list that you want to assign as the brand for the template.
    Product Type Enter wildcard characters ( **) to select the product types or click to search for and select Product Type that the size scale is to be used on.
    Product Team Select a product team from the drop-down list.

  3. Click Done.
