Adding Colorway from Library

You can add the colors from the libraries to a product.

Before you begin: The Create Colorway From Library option is present in the Colorways page of a product only if the product meets the following conditions:

The product contains fabrics that have some approved colors or washes in the BOM of the product.

The product is connected to a seasonal plan that has a seasonal library with some approved colors.

Ensure that you are in the Colorways List page. See Colorways List Window.

  1. From the page Actions menu, click Create Colorway From Library (Seasonal, Approved, and Global) to open the Colors page.



  2. Use the following filters at the top right side of the page:

    Fabric Approved Colors - To filter the search based on fabric approved colors, select the color, print or wash name to display colors, prints and washes common between the related seasonal library and the existing BOM components.

    All Seasonal Colors - To filter the search based on all seasonal colors, select the color, print or wash name available on the related seasonal library independent of the BOM component.

    All Global Colors - To filter the search based on all global colors, select the color, print or wash name available on the related seasonal library independent of the BOM component.

    Selecting Colorway from the product Copy page copies the colorways and the corresponding colors to the copy of the product.

  3. Click Submit.

    Note: For a base Product, lock status of product is remain same as that was prior to creation of Colorway. i.e. If product was locked, then after Colorway creation, product is remain locked. If product was un-locked, then after Colorway creation, product is remain un-locked.
