Editing Alternative Material Sources in a CMT Type SUC

This section describes how to edit alternate material sources in a CMT type SUC.

Before you begin:

A product may have one or more alternative sources for its fabric related material items. You can view and select the alternative material sources of a product in the SUC record.

Ensure that you are in the SUC properties page. See Viewing Cost Items.

  1. From the toolbar of a CMT SUC page, click Categories > Material/CMT Cost. The Power View page opens.

  2. From the Material Cost tab toolbar, click Actions > View Alternates The Alternate Sources page opens listing the information on the alternate sources of the product. For a detailed description of the parameters, see Viewing Product Details.

  3. Select an alternative material source then click Update with Selected Alternates from the page toolbar. The selected material is displayed in the Material Cost tab.
