Viewing Miscellaneous Costs

This section describes how to view miscellaneous costs in a SUC record.

Before you begin: Ensure that you are in the SUC Cost Summary Page. See Viewing the Cost Summary.

  1. The Cost Summary tab contains the Miscellaneous Cost details.



    Note: If the SUC is created from the Set or Pack Product, the BOM details shows the materials of the Set or Pack Product and the materials of its sub-product.

    Note: If the SUC is created for the Product Variant, then Material Cost details will show the material cost Product Variant.

  2. The Miscellaneous Cost page displays the following details:

    Description - Describes the miscellaneous cost and lists relevant information.

    Cost By - Indicates whether the cost is calculated by percentage or by an inputted amount.

    Cost By Value - Indicates the cost by value of the cost item.

    Cost - Indicates the calculated miscellaneous cost or the amount of miscellaneous cost.

    Note: If Misc Cost By is set to %, the system calculates this parameter by using the formula of "[Misc Cost (%) / 100] * [Total SUC (on the Cost Summary tab)].

    Note: If Misc Cost By is set to $, this parameter is equal to the value input into Misc Cost ($).

    Dutiable - Indicates whether the miscellaneous cost is dutiable.

    Cost Remarks - Indicates additional information on the miscellaneous cost.

  3. The following options are available from the Miscellaneous Cost tab toolbar:

    Add - Allows you to add a miscellaneous cost item. See Adding a Miscellaneous Cost Item.

    Mode - Allows you to edit the miscellaneous cost items. See Editing a Miscellaneous Cost Item.

    Delete Selected - Allows you to delete the selected miscellaneous cost items.

    View Cost by Description - Allows you to view the cost by description for the Set or Pack Product SUC.
