Viewing a Report's Definition

When viewing a report in the results page, you can open the report dialog box containing the parameters used to generate this report. You can then change the parameters and execute an updated report.

Before you begin: Generate a new or view a saved report (see View Results Page).

  1. From the page Actions menu or page toolbar, select View Definition. ENOVIA Business Metrics Module opens the report dialog page, populated with the parameters used to generate the report.

  2. Make any changes necessary, then click Done. Business Metrics opens an additional report results window (the original results window is still open) with a result set based on the edited parameters.

    If you select the Delete command in the report dialog page, the report object is deleted and the report dialog page is closed. An error message displays if you then try to perform any operation in the report results page that is still open.
