About Searching

The search tool opened from a specific place can vary depending on how your system is configured. This chapter provides guidelines for using the various types of search pages you may see.

• If the left pane of the window shows a tree structure for selecting types and attribute values, see Running an Advanced Search (Navigation Mode)
• If you see a form at the top for entering criteria and a table at the bottome with results, see Searching Using the Consolidated Search Form
