Rejecting an Engineering Change

The owner and any user in the approval list can promote an engineering change to the Reject state when it is in any state except Complete or Close". After rejecting an engineering change, the distribution list and owner are notified of the rejection.

Before you begin: View the Properties page for an engineering change. See Engineering Change Properties.

  1. On the Properties page, click Reject from the page Actions menu or toolbar. The Reject Engineering Change page opens.



  2. Type a Reason for Rejection, stating why the engineering change is being rejected.

  3. Click Done.
