The default installation handles RIP mode. Optionally, the installation program may configure the single process server or the RMI Gateway with its default configuration. For installation procedures, refer to the Preparing to Install the ENOVIA Live Collaboration Server. The sections that follow provide information on re-configuring the Live Collaboration Server.

When the ENOVIA Live Collaboration Server is installed, a server configuration audit tool is run to evaluate system and java resources and settings. These configuration settings can be crucial to a successful deployment and are discussed in Server Startup Configuration Checker.
