Installing ENOVIA Collaborative Design for CATIA V5 Server

Follow these instructions to install ENOVIA Collaborative Design for CATIA V5 Server.

Note: Collaborative Design for CATIA V5 Server is not supported on 32-bit HP-UX and Windows operating systems.

Before you begin:

Ensure that ENOVIA Designer Central is installed.

  1. Run the appropriate installer for Windows or UNIX. Refer to Installers and Prerequisites for the appropriate file name.

    The ENOVIA Server Install directory dialog box opens.

    Click Browse and specify the location where the server is installed. For example, D:\ENOVIA\2012\server.

  2. Click Next.

    The Choose Destination Location dialog box opens.

    The location where Collaborative Design for CATIA V5 Server will be installed is displayed. For example, D:\ENOVIA\2012\server\Apps\CollaborativeDesignForCATIAV5\V6R2012.

    Note: Ensure that the displayed location is empty. An error is displayed if the installation folder is not empty.

  3. Click Next.

    The Super User/Password dialog box opens.

    Enter the user name and password. Ensure that the specified user is assigned both Business and System Administration privileges.

  4. Click Next.

    The summary of the parameters specified in steps 2 to 4 is displayed for review. Click Back to review or change any parameters.

  5. Click Install to start the installation.

    The Setup Complete dialog box with a success message is displayed once the installation process is complete.

Note: Uninstallers are not available for Collaborative Design for CATIA V5 Server.
