Demoting a Defect from Open to Submit

When a defect is in the Open state, you can demote it to the Submit state if needed.

Before you begin: View the Properties page for the defect. See Viewing Defect Details.

  1. Click Demote To Submit on the page toolbar.

  2. Enter the reason why you are demoting the defect in the text box.

  3. Click Done.

The Defect is demoted to the Submit state.
